The project  

The project “Water and watermills, past and present” aims at creating a network of some European schools in Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, and Spain that are working on two main topics, an environmental one, “water as a very important source of life and energy” and an historical one “the watermills, their past and present”.

The project 

The project “Water and watermills, past and present” aims at creating a network of some European schools in Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, and Spain that are working on two main topics, an environmental one, “water as a very important source of life and energy” and an historical one “the watermills, their past and present”.

Water is vital to our life and this projects aims at considering the importance of this “precious resource” as a source of life and clean, renewable and unobtrusive energy and making students collect information about the quality of the water they drink and use and find out if their community has concerns about it.

The main purposes are to make them aware of the use or misuse they make of it and make them study how the water has been exploited by their ancestors in the past, it is exploited at present and will be in the future. The students are making a survey on their local hydrological systems and the presence of mills in the areas where they live. They have visited them and studied the way mills were built and work, they have collected photographic evidences and they have interviewed the elderly in order to collect recorded witnesses. At every stage students have exchanged their information with their partners of the other European schools and at the end they are preparing at the moment a common product, a brochure, a video, a cd with all the collected and compared material.

   Целта на проекта “Вода и воденици, минало и настояще” е да се създаде мрежа от европейски училища – в България, Ирландия, Италия и Испания – които да работят по две основни  теми: първата, свързана с околната среда “водата като изключително важен източник на живот и енергия” и втората,  историческа  “водениците-тяхното минало и настояще”Водата е от изключителна  важност за нашия живот и този проект цели разглеждането на значението на този ‘ценен ресурс’ като източник на живот и екологично чиста енергия и насърчаването на учениците да съберат информация, свързана с качеството  водата за питейни и битови нужди, както и да установят в каква степен обществото е ангажирано  по този въпрос. Основната цел е да се обърне внимание на правилните и неправилни начини, по които се използва този ресурс и да се проучи как водата е била използвана от нашите предшественици в миналото,как се използва сега и какви са перспективите. Учениците правят проучване на хидрологични системи и на състоянието на водениците в районите, в които живеят. Те посещават воденици, за да се запознаят с начина, по който са построени и функционират, правят снимки и интервюират свидетели на историята им,за да съберат информация за видяното и преживяно от тях. На всеки етап от своята работа учениците обменят получената информация с партнъорите си от останалите европейски училища и изработват общи продукти: брошура, филм, диск,списание с всички събрани и сравнени материали.

  Il progetto “Water and watermills, their past and present” mira a creare una rete di scuole europee in Bulgaria, Irlanda, Italia e Spagna che sta lavorando principalmente su due argomenti, uno relativo l’ambiente, “l’acqua come una importante risorsa di vita e di energia” ed uno storico, “i mulini ad acqua, il loro passato e il loro futuro.

L’acqua è vitale per la nostra vita e questo progetto vuole prendere in considerazione l’importanza di questo preziosa risorsa di vita e fonte di energia pulita, rinnovabile e far raccogliere agli studenti informazioni circa la qualità dell’acqua che bevono e usano e verificare se la comunità è sensibile a questo riguardo.

Lo scopo principale è renderli consapevoli dell’’uso o dell’abuso che essi ne fanno e far loro studiare come l’acqua è stata sfruttata dai loro antenati nel passato, è sfruttata oggi e potrà esserlo nel futuro. Gli studenti hanno fatto uno studio sul sistema idrologico locale e sulla presenza di mulini ad acqua nell’area in cui vivono. Li hanno visitati, hanno studiato il modo in cui essi sono stati costruiti e funzionano, raccolto materiale fotografico ed hanno intervistato anziani allo scopo di raccogliere testimonianze. Hanno confrontato le loro informazioni con quelle raccolte dai coetanei delle altre scuole europee ed alla fine stanno preparando un unico prodotto comune, un opuscolo, un video, un cd con tutto il materiale raccolto e confrontato.

   El Projecte

El proyecto “Agua y Molinos, pasado y presente” aspira a crear una red entre escuelas Europeas en Bulgaria, Irlanda, Italia y España, que trabajará sobre dos temas principales: sobre Medio ambiente “el agua como un importante recurso de vida y energía” e Histórico “los molinos de agua: pasado y presente”.
El agua como recurso vital para nuestras vidas y sus proyectos intenta hacer ver la importancia de ese “precioso recurso” como fuente de vida y limpieza, como fuente de energía renovable y pretende hacer que los alumnos recojan información sobre la calidad del agua que beben y utilizan y averigüen si la comunidad en la que viven se preocupa por ello. Se intenta que la gente sea consciente de su uso o “mal uso” que hacen del agua y que vean cómo el agua ha sido utilizada por sus antepasados, cómo es utilizada actualmente y cómo lo será en el futuro. Los alumnos deberán hacer un estudio sobre el sistema hidrológico de su zona y sobre la posible presencia de molinos en el área dónde viven. Visitarán los molinos, estudiando cómo funcionan y cómo fueron construidos, harán fotos y entrevistarán a gente mayor. En cada momento de la investigación los alumnos intercambiarán información con sus “partners” de los otros centros y al final se hará un folleto, un video y un CD con todo el material obtenido.
